This started life as a single, decorative font—the Highlight version, in fact. But once that was completed, clearly an accompanying “fill” font was required. Actually, that looked quite nice on its own, so rather obviously, it being Bold, a Regular was also needed. And then of course, italics. Once you get started, it’s hard to stop, and you never know where you’ll end up!

In this case, it’s a bit of a shape shifter, despite being in the vein of certain well know neo-grotesques. At text size, the treatment is not apparent—the suggestion is of a rounded style, but not exactly. At deck size, it seems to be distressed, yet in display the rigor of the structure becomes apparent.
