Semi-condensed and compact in height, Sense is an efficient stripped-down sans with a touch of humanist ductus. In use since 2007 for Canada’s multi-award-winning Globe and Mail newspaper, for which it was commissioned, it proves its worth in print and online, every day. Sense and Sensibility (its similarly proportioned partner), present two poles of a design axis within the sans serif genre. Of these non-identical twins, Sense cuts to the chase, somewhat in the manner of a condensed, large x-height Futura.
